英文摘要 | Designing an automatic transfer function for effective visualization of volumetric medical data remains a challenging task. We propose an efficient segmentation-based framework for the automatic generation of transfer functions. We firstly over-segment the intensity-gradient histogram of the input volumetric data into a set of patches according to their intensity and gradient magnitude. Then, we further cluster these patches according to the spatial information of the voxels by using a hierarchical clustering method. Finally, the resultant image is automatically generated based on the hierarchical clusters by employing appropriate opacity and color transfer functions. The proposed method takes both intensity-gradient values and spatial information into account which helps achieve appealing results. Experiments on various medical datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
