3D Optical Localization System Based on Four Video Cameras

英文摘要In order to achieve the goal of high accuracy and low occlusions in optical localization system, this paper presents a novel localization system based on four inexpensive video cameras. The key algorithms in this system mainly consist of the "16-points interpolation" method and the PFM algorithm. The former algorithm is used to enhance the 2D image points' accuracy in each video camera; while the latter one is proposed to find the optimal 3D position of the target point. Simulation and real experimental results prove the good performance of these two algorithms. In addition, we merge this system with a magnetic localization system to build a optical-magnetic hybrid localization system. The localization algorithm and results of this hybrid system will also be introduced in this paper.
