中文摘要LD端面泵浦的小功率473nm全固态蓝光激光器,与传统激光器相比,以其高效率、长寿命、结构紧凑、高稳定性等优点引起人们极大的研究兴趣,近年来发展迅速,广泛应用于光存储、数字视频技术、科学研究、水下通讯等领域。如何获得低噪声且高效率的蓝光激光器,是当前该领域的研究热点所在。为此,本文在理论和实验基础上,做了如下工作: 一、从准三能级速率方程理论出发,详细的分析了全固体蓝光激光器的单元和整体设计,并对蓝光噪声现象进行了实验观察,同时结合噪声理论分析了激光器的噪声来源,最后总结了噪声测试的方法和已有的各种降噪方案。 二、在腔内插入Ⅰ型临界相位匹配LBO倍频晶体后基频光偏振度达到将近400:1,表明 LBO在激光器中起着偏振片的作用。根据这个结论以及各种降噪方案的比较,提出了自己的一种新方案,即在腔内同时插入一个全波片和一个标准具进行双选频降噪的方案,其中全波片和LBO构成双折射滤波片。实验中,在1.2w泵浦功率情况下获得了约20mw的低噪声蓝光输出,光光转化效率为约1.67%,功率稳定性小于5%,rms%噪声小于1%,光束质量因子小于1.2。
英文摘要Diode end-pumped solid-state blue laser is of great interests due to its high-efficiency, long-lifetime, compact-structure and high-stability. It has been developing fast during recent years, and has been widely used in the fields of optical storage, digital video technology, scientific research, underwater communication and so on. Now the research focus of this area is how to achieve a blue laser with both of low noise and high efficiency. In this thesis, a series of research is done based on the theory and experiments: 一、According to the rate equation theory of quasi-three energy levels system, the design of all solid-state blue laser’s units and overall is briefly analyzed. The noise phenomenon is experimentally observed, and the source of the noise is analyzed according to the noise theory and the experiment results. At last the various methods of testing noise and of lowering the noise are summarized. 二、when type-Ⅰcritical phase-matching doubling frequency crystal LBO is inserted into the cavity, the polarization rate of fundamental frequency laser is nearly 400:1. This indicates that LBO is playing the role of polarizer in the laser cavity. According to this conclusion and the comparization among various methods of lowering laser noise, a new method inserting both a quartz whole-wave plate and an etalon to lowering laser noise is introduced. When the pumping power is 1.2w, nearly 20 mw of blue laser with low noise is obtained. The efficiency of pumping power to output blue power is nearly 1.67%, the power stability is better than 5%, the rms% noise less than 1%,and the beam quality is less than 1.2.
