中文摘要本文概括介绍了铜蒸气激光器的基本动力学过程和铜原子的能级特性,在回顾铜蒸气激光器发展历史的基础上进一步介绍了国内、国外的发展现状,并且讨论了铜蒸气激光器在其发展过程中遇到的困难和解决方案。对铜蒸气激光器在各领域的应用也作了全面的介绍。我们初步研制成了一台百瓦级铜蒸气激光器。通过对大口径铜蒸气激光器的机理分析及主要参数的分析计算,确定了百瓦级激光器的设计参数。在电源系统方面,开展了双闸流管触发系统的研究,用两个国产闸流管并联代替进口闸流管成功应用于百瓦器件。近年来随着铜蒸气激光器的发展,越来越多的应用领域中均要求铜激光具有高功率、高方向性。本文详细的研究了铜蒸气激光器的输出特性,探讨了如何进一步改善激光输出特性,特别是提高激光输出功率。加磁脉冲压缩器可以大大减轻闸流管的负担,延长闸流管使用寿命,增强激光输出稳定性。我们研制了用于高功率铜蒸气激光器的磁脉冲压缩器,压缩比为2。在此基础上,我们还研制了一种小型磁脉冲压缩器,其结构简单,便于安装,已经成功应用于20W激光器。在放电管的缓冲气体内掺入杂质气体可以有效改善激光输出特性。通过大口径铜蒸气激光器掺氢的研究,我们发现在Φ65mm * 2200mm 器件上掺氢0.5%,可以使输出功率增加25%,光束的“黑心“现象也得到了明显改善。此外,我们还在小口径器件上进行了掺钪的研究,结果表明,恰当的掺入比可以使输出功率增加28%,但是由于钪的能级结构极其复杂及目前实验条件的限制,在实验中很难有效控制钪的掺入量,掺钪研究还有待于进一步深入。
英文摘要In this thesis a brief review of the energy characteristics of copper atom and basic physics process of DVL was introduced. After reviewing the developing experiences of CVL the domestic and external progress was reported, At the same time we discussed the difficulties and resolving methods in the developing process of CVL. The applications of CVL in all kinds of fields were also described. A 100W copper vapor laser was developed successfully, By analyzing the mechanism of a large-bore CVL and calculating its several major parameters we demonstrated the design parameters of the 100W CVL. In the aspect of laser power supply we developed the study of a double-thyratron triggering system. The 100W CVL operated successfully using a double thyratron parallel instead of a thyratron abroad. The copper vapor laser is being increasing used for application requiring both high beam quality and high-average power. This thesis studied the output characteristics of CVL detailedly and discussed how to improve the laser output characteristics especially to increase the output power. The load of the thyratron can be reduced greatly and the life time can be prolonged by using magnetic pulsed compressor, The output stability of laser was also enhanced. A single state magnetic pulsed compression system for high-power CVL was developed, the compressor ratio is 2. On this basis we studied a small magnetic pulsed compressor which structure was simply and installation was convenient, It had operated in 20W CVL circuit successfully. The laser characteristics can be improved by the addition of impurity gas to the neon buffer gas. In the study of a large-bore copper vapor laser by hydrogen increases in output power by typically 25% were observed for a Large-scale device by an addition of about 0.5% hydrogen and the black center of the output beam was significantly altered. We also studied the effects of Sc atoms on the output characteristics of small size CVL. It had been experimentally found that the output power was in creased by 28% when the additive ratio was optimum. However, because the energy structure of Sc atom was very complicated and restriction of experimental condition, it was required to go deep into the study of adding Sc atoms.
