中文摘要本论文工作重点研究了Yb3+掺杂锗硅酸盐激光玻璃的玻璃形成区、析晶性能、吸收光谱和荧光光谱和荧光寿命特性,旨在寻找合适的掺镱基质玻璃,以期最终获得高受激发射截面、长荧光寿命、物理化学性能好有实用意义的掺镱激光玻璃。本文分为序言、文献综述、理论基础、实验、结果与讨论和结论六部分。本文首先概述了掺镱激光玻璃的研究进展,介绍了掺镱激光玻璃的理论基础,并通过全面系统的实验研究取得了以下主要进展和结果:1)首次探明了锗硅酸盐玻璃系统的玻璃形成区和形成体最佳配比关系,给出了最佳的制备掺镱激光玻璃的Ge/Si比例范围。对xGeo2-(60-x)SiO2-19CaO-15K2O-5Na2O-1Yb2O(x=0,5,15,20,30,35,45,60)玻璃(GSY玻璃)的物理性质和光谱性质进行研究,利用实测的吸收光谱和倒易法计算出Yb3十离子在GSY玻璃中的受激发射截面。研究发现GsY玻璃中的Yb3+离子在1 o20nm左右具有高达0.5-0.65pm2的受激发射截面和长达1.2-2.0ms的荧光寿命。研究同时发现在玻璃中存在着最佳的玻璃形成体配比,GeO2SiO2大致的值在1/3~1/2之间,在这一配比范围内GSY敬璃具孤最大的受激发射截面和最长的荧光寿 2)系统研究了影响Yb3+玻璃荧光寿命的因素。认为OH-、玻璃形成体、网络修饰体系、Yb3+离子浓度都会影响Yb3+玻璃的荧光寿命。通过研究和对比同组分玻璃除水前后红外吸收光谱,得出掺镱GeO2-5102体系玻璃光谱性质对OH-很敏感。3)初步探索了掺镱锗硅酸楚盐激光玻璃的网络结构,探讨了玻璃形成体成分变化导致掺稳锗硅酸盐激光玻璃受激发射截面变化的原因。发现网络修饰体不但可以降低玻璃的熔化温度,同时还可以调节玻璃的网络结构。4)初步探索了一套制备掺Yb3十锗硅酸盐玻璃工艺。成功制备了体积为50ml,光学均匀性好、掺杂浓度达1%(摩尔百分比)、荧光寿命达到2.0ms、受激发射截面达到0.65pm2的掺Yb3+锗硅酸盐玻璃。
英文摘要In order to develop Yb3+-doped laser glasses that have longer fluorescence lifetime, higher cross section for stimulated emission, lower non-linear refractive index, we investigated glass formation range, thermal stability, absorption spectra and fluorescent spectra of Yb3+ doped germino-silicate glass. In this dissertation, Yb3+: germano-silicate glass was systematically studied. Some valuable results were obtained. 1) The absorption, stimulated emission cross section and potential laser parameters of Yb3+ doped gernano-silicate glasses (GSY glass) have been investigated for the first time. The stimulated emission cross section has been evaluated using the measured absorption spectra and reciprocity principle. It is found that Yb3+ in GSY glasses has high stimulated emission cross section of 0.5~0.65 pm2 near 1020nm and long measured fluorescence lifetime of 1.20~2.00ms. And it is also found that there exists an optimal GeO2 to SiO2 ratio range in germano-silicate glass to get large stimulated emission cross section and long fluorescence time. It ranges from 1/3 to 1/2. 2) The effects of OH' content, glass formers, glass modifiers, high valency cations on the fluorescent lifetime of Yb3+ were studied in detail. By comparing the infrared spectra of the same glass before and after water removing, it is found that OH" content has a serious effect on fluorescence lifetime of Yb3+ ion in germano-silicate glass. OH" groups in glass decrease the fluorescent lifetime of Yb3+: germano-silicate glasses greatly. 3) The network structure of Yb3+:germano-silicate glass was investigated and the possible reasons for the changes of the stimulated emission cross section and the fluorescence lifetime with glass composition were supposed. Network modifiers are necessary to improve the thermal stability and melting properties of Yb + -doped germano-silicate glasses. 4) A Yb3+-doped gemano-silicate glass with good homoneous, long fluorescene lifetime (close to 2.0ms) and high emission cross section (close to 0.65pm2) Yb3+-doped germano-silicate glasses was developed and prepared.
