英文摘要a 3 x 3 free-space optical router, which comprises optical switches and polarizing beam splitter (pbs) and based on crossbar network, is proposed in this paper. a control algorithm for the 3 x 3 free-space optical router is also developed to achieve rapid control without rearrangement. in order to test the performance of the network based on 3 x 3 free-space optical router and that of the algorithm developed for the optical router, experiments are designed. the experiment results show that the interconnection network based on the 3 x 3 free-space optical router has low cross talk, fast connection speed. under the control of the algorithm developed, a non-block and real free interconnection network is obtained based on the 3 x 3 free-space optical router we proposed.
