Sustainable catalytic oxidation of alcohols over the interface between air and water

英文摘要Alcohols are oxidized to aldehydes or ketones in water by directly using air as the oxidant. The catalytic conversions are based on a hybrid nanocatalyst with monodispersed Au nanoparticles embedded in a polyoxometalate self-assembly matrix. The oxidation processes exhibit excellent activity and selectivity.
